ABOUT
Introduction
Sabina is a saxophonist based in London and the South East. After studying Music Performance at the University of Huddersfield, she graduated with a first class honours degree, before moving to London to undertake her Masters degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
As a performer, Sabina enjoys a wide range of music, achieving success as a concerto soloist playing with a full wind orchestra, whilst her solo projects have ranged from transcribed classical works, to modern saxophone works from the last decade. Classically trained, Sabina is competent in many styles, and plays in a variety of wind bands, big bands, as well as quartets.
Sabina has studied under teachers such as Gerard McChrystal, Sarah Markham and Melanie Henry, as well as within workshops and master classes with Kyle Horche, Jerome Laran, Jean-Denis Michat, Rob Buckland, and Andy Scott.

She enjoys the variety provided by depping, and performs regularly with groups such as The Mack Big Band, Surrey Police Concert Band, and the Redstone Community Big Band. She is also often seen at one off events, such as helping with amateur musical productions, or playing for events for The Royal Institute of British Architecture. Currently she is engaged in a project exploring the relationship between the saxophone and the violin, with fellow Huddersfield alumni, violinist Emma Oldfield.
